PBG Welfare has distinguished itself as a lead blood donating voluntary organisation not only in the Punjab but also throughout the country . Since 14 years , this organisation has been active in each type of social welfare including blood donation camps . The idea behind this project is to ensure quality blood in blood components to the people who are badly needed in some severe diseases as Thalassemia , Cancer , Dengue etc. Our volunteers also participate energetically in organising polio booth camps . We are also helpful in each type of epidemic as our full team was energetic during COVID-19 . A special wing of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers is developed to provide round the clock service for blood and white and red cells. Our SDP members are always ready to donate platelets anywhere anytime . This wing is the corner stone of the safe and adequate supply of blood products. We have both gender wings. By this we are capable to provide blood to every nook and corner of the country . Our society is responsible for pick and drop of the donors at our own cost at anytime and anywhere throughout the country. By the end of the year, we provide the live donations around 1000 units in which the focus is more on the pregnant ladies and children. Beside this , other type of social activities are run by our hard-working volunteers. Our mission is to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage people to become regular blood donors. It runs on the concept of 100% voluntary blood donations . The total amount of each blood donation camp is paid by PBG Welfare Club.
